One of the most important things when you travel is the accommodation, right? Will it live up to your expectations? Will there be any surprises or is there a catch? We get it. We are also well traveled people ourselves and we have quite high standards. So we make sure our cabins reach our own high expectations. To have a great place to call home while you are visiting somewhere can make or break a holiday. So we can safely say, no matter which cabins you choose, you will love it here in our cabins and you have absolutely nothing to worry about. We’ve had a few thousand customers come here over the last decade or so and we have never heard a bad word about our accommodation. All we hear is how happy everyone is with it and that they wish to stay longer. All our cabins are walking distance to the watchtower and they are also walking distance to a very nice restaurant (Restraunt Deatnu), if you don’t want to make your own meals every day.

Our Asgard A site consists of our 5 original cottages. We have been using them since 2014 and the thousands of customers who have stayed in them over the years have absolutely loved them. They are 2 bedroom, so each cottage can sleep up to 4 people.

- Full electric, water and heating (cottages are permanently warm, around 23°C room temp)

Are the cottages warm?
Yes! All the cottages are heated. Not only is there are huge log fire in the middle of the living room. There are electric radiators in each room controlled by a central thermostat which you may turn up if you feel a bit chilly. In addition to the radiators the bathroom/shower room also has underfloor heating. There is also an electric sauna in each cottage. They are very warm cottages, the heating is on 24 hours a day so the room temperature is always at a constant 23°C degrees. They are very toasty and cosy! We’ve had thousands of customers stay in these over the years and we’ve never heard a bad word said about them. Proper quintessential Lapland Log Cabin.

This accommodation is for our Asgard B Northern Lights Holiday in Utsjoki, Finland.
Our Asgard B site consists of 5 newer cottages. Two of them are 2 bedroom so can sleep 4 (or 6 if using the sofa bed). Three of them are 1 bedroom, so sleep 2. If you have a booking of 2 people you will automatically be allocated the one bed cottage. If you have a booking of 3 or more people, you will automatically be allocated the two bed cottage.

Are the cottages warm?
Yes! Very! All our cottages are heated 24/7, 365 days a year. Temp is set to 22°c-23°c. These newer cabins have heated flooring throughout, included underfloor heating in the bathroom. They also have large soapstone fireplaces you can light to your hearts content.
